What’s even more shocking is that of the respondents who have fled the roost, 60% are living in rented accommodations. How will this shape Singapore’s property market?

More Developers Offering Deferred Payment Plans in Singapore

(Source: The Straits Times, 16 June 2016)  Two more property developers in Singapore have begun offering delayed payment schemes in a bid to move units. This action follows the success of OUE’s project “Twin Peaks” which had utilized the scheme and sold about 160 units since late March when the scheme was first introduced. Caitaland has sold about 20 units in “d’Leedon” under its own version of the scheme, and has also opened the scheme to remainding units in “The Interlace”. (more…)
